Sarah and I took Juppie and the dogs into the woods today.  I was surprised at the number of trees down and low over hanging branches on the paths.  The new gate is also a bit tricky on horse back as the bank slopes away making it almost impossible to push open from the wood side.  Great walk though! I even had a ride on Jupps.  

Sarah, Katie & I have been pulling nettles along the fence today.  We've all been stung on our arms and faces.  So much so that Sarah and I have now got numb arms!  It looks like it was a bad move though as Juppy and the cows have been munching through the trees and shrubs we planted which they couldn't get to before! 

It's taken 10 years and about a dozen leaks - but Bristol Water have finally located my stop tap. It's right at the other end of the common - but at least I can turn the water off to fix the other leaks on the common now. The cows do enjoy the mud though!
